Arizona Democrat vows to pressure Justice Department for transparency

RNE Network.
After weeks of delay, congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva will be sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday.
The Arizona Democrat is expected to immediately press for a vote on releasing investigative files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Grijalva won her seat from Arizona’s 7th congressional district on September 23 with nearly 69 percent of the vote, but her swearing-in was postponed due to the federal government shutdown that began on October 1.
Once sworn in, Grijalva has pledged to join a bipartisan effort to urge the U.S. Justice Department to make Epstein’s investigative files public.
