“Ikou Rika” — these last two words in the trailer of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game breathe excitement into anime fans. Fans are still trying to overcome the way Yuta Okkotsu is being shown in the trailer. Ever since the new trailer of Jujutsu Kaisen was dropped, fans have been biting their nails. The original soundtrack (OST) sounds promising. It makes you feel anxious and excited in the same breath. The cinematography, animation, dialogues, and story writing all look very promising.
The writer of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami, who is a manga artist famous for his dark fantasy work, has done an incredible job. Studio MAPPA, which has animated the show, has been toiling and moiling since 2019 to satiate the expectations of anime fans.
When and where to watch JJK in India?
Fans can stream Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 on Thursday, 8th January 2026, at 10:30 PM IST. The first and second episodes will be available to stream exclusively on the online platform Crunchyroll. Meanwhile, other platforms like Netflix, JioHotstar, Prime Video, and Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel currently offer only Season 1 and Season 2. These platforms may soon offer Season 3 of JJK in the near future.
All eyes on Yuji, Sukuna, Fushiguro, Gojo…
As the main antagonist of JJK, Ryomen Sukuna witnesses the true strength of Megumi Fushiguro. He is desperate to use Fushiguro’s power for his final showdown. On the other hand, Yuji Itadori is aware of the plot that Sukuna is trying to make involving Megumi Fushiguro. This can be predicted from the trailer, where Yuji says, “I can feel his power growing stronger. Sukuna is plotting something that uses Fushiguro.”
As for the invincible Gojo Sensei, during the Shibuya Incident he was sealed by Kenjaku, who is inhabiting the body of Gojo Sensei’s best friend, Geto, in the Prison Realm, as shown in Season 2 of JJK. He is calmly waiting for his time.
