During his 2018 visit to Oman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited and offered prayers at a historic Shiva Temple located in the heart of Muscat, the Sultanate’s capital.
The temple stands as a living example of unity and coexistence for the Indian diaspora in Oman through the ages, serving as a spiritual and cultural hub for the community.
DD India’s correspondent spoke to Rajesh Soneji, a member of the Shiva Temple Management Committee, who highlighted the temple’s significance and its role in maintaining the cultural heritage of Indians living in Oman.
