Australia Clinch ODI Series with 2-Wicket Win Over India

Batter Matthew Short guided Australia to a 2-wicket victory over India in the second one-day international at Adelaide, securing the three-match series 2–0.

Short top-scored with 74 runs, while Cooper Connolly remained unbeaten on 61 as Australia successfully chased down the 265-run target in 46.2 overs.

Earlier, Indian captain Rohit Sharma scored a patient 73, sharing a 118-run partnership with Shreyas Iyer as India posted 264 for 9 wickets. Leg-spinner Adam Zampa was the standout performer with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 60 runs in his 10 overs. Having also won the series opener in Perth, Australia wrapped up the contest with one match to spare.
