India’s U-19 World Cup debut was impressive. They defeated the United States by 6 wickets.

India began their Under-19 World Cup campaign with a six-wicket win against the United States in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
India put the United States into bat after winning the toss. Henil Patel instantly justified the decision by delivering a fiery opening spell that broke the back of the U.S. top order. The right-arm pacer picked up three wickets in his opening burst.
Patel then returned to clean up the tail, bagging the first five-wicket haul of the tournament, and bowled the U.S. out for just 107 runs.
However, a brief spell of rain reduced the target to 96 runs in 37 overs, which India achieved in 17.2 overs.
India will be back in action against Bangladesh for their second game on Saturday.
