Second day of Budget Session of Assam Legislative Assembly 

Today is the second day of the Budget session of the Fifteenth Assam Legislative Assembly. State Finance Minister Ajanta Neog is scheduled to present the Vote-on-Account Budget for the financial year 2026-27 in the Assembly. 

There is also a possibility of discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address. In addition, Assembly speaker Biswajit Daimary will announce the second report of the Assam Legislative Assembly’s Business Advisory Committee.
