Jaishankar meets Putin, reviews India-Russia summit plans

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday. During the meeting, he conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed President Putin on the preparations underway for the upcoming Annual India–Russia Summit.

The two leaders also discussed key regional and global developments. Dr Jaishankar said he deeply values President Putin’s perspectives and guidance on the further advancement of India–Russia relations.
