The flood situation in six districts of Odisha has shown significant signs of improvement. Water levels across major rivers have dropped below the danger mark following a 48-hour lull in heavy rainfall.

While river levels continue to recede, conditions in other affected districts are also gradually improving. However, many residents remain marooned in waterlogged areas. In response, government relief operations are actively underway to provide essential aid.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has been chairing high-level review meetings to closely monitor the ground situation and direct relief efforts.
