India-Sweden ties gain prominence, with partnerships in space and green technology

 Addressing the joint meet, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced that Sweden and India have upgraded their relations to a strategic partnership. Sweden and India plan to intensify their cooperation in space, innovation, emerging technologies and the green transition.

The Swedish Prime Minister lauded PM Narendra Modi’s efforts to bring the India–EU FTA into reality. He also said that trade between India and Sweden will further gain momentum with this agreement.
