India joins global health discussions as Health Minister JP Nadda visits Switzerland for the 79th World Health Assembly, which begins today.

Centered around the theme “Reshaping Global Health: A Shared Responsibility”, the 6-day Assembly in Geneva, brings nations together to shape resilient, inclusive and future-ready healthcare systems.

The event brings together health ministers and global public health experts from over 165 countries  addressing pressing issues like new outbreak threats, global climate change, and air quality amid shrinking health budgets and geopolitical divides.
